Jim Beemster

Jim is the Senior Controller for Evergreen Real Estate Group.

As the Senior Controller, Jim is responsible for the financial reporting for Evergreen’s Corporate Entities, including preparing monthly financial statements, tracking development costs, and supporting the corporate accounting team. He works with Evergreen’s Development, Acquisitions, and Property Management divisions by ensuring the accounting and banking structures are in place for new and projected developments. Jim coordinates and analyzes annual audits for assets Evergreen manages for third-party owners. Jim’s experience in the affordable housing industry includes working at Metroplex, Inc. for seventeen years, including five years as the Controller. Before Metroplex, Jim worked at Warady and Davis, LLP, auditing affordable housing developments and commercial real estate for twelve years. Jim graduated from the University of Illinois in 1986 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and is a registered CPA in the State of Illinois.
