Rishi Taparia

Rishi Taparia is a seasoned investor and business strategist with extensive experience in the technology and venture capital sectors. As Co-Founder and General Partner at Garuda Ventures since January 2018, Rishi oversees investments of up to $1 million in early-stage startups. Rishi also serves as a Board Observer at Evergrow and previously held strategic roles at Legion Technologies, focusing on enhancing workforce management for hourly workers. Rishi's background includes significant contributions as Vice President of Business Operations and Strategy at Poynt, where operations were scaled leading to an acquisition by GoDaddy. Early career experiences include roles at Matrix, Scale Venture Partners, Merrill Lynch, and Apple, where Rishi developed expertise in investment evaluation, business operations, and marketing. Rishi earned a BA in Economics and Communications from Northwestern University and graduated from Jakarta Intercultural School.
