Michael Collins has a diverse background in energy and military service. Currently serving as a Transmission System Operator at Evergy Energy Partners since December 2022, Michael previously worked as a Wind Turbine Technician at NextEra Energy Resources from November 2016 to December 2022. Prior military experience includes roles as an Air Traffic Controller and Recruiter in the Marine Corps from October 2003 to October 2016. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Alternative and Renewable Energy Management from Everglades University, completed in 2019, and has received specialized training from Airstreams Renewables Inc., Recruiting School, and the Naval Air Technical Training Center.
