Chuck Caisley

Chuck Caisley is the SVP Marketing, Public Affairs & Chief Customer Officer at Evergy. Chuck has previously worked as Missouri Employers Mutual, Kansas City Power & Light, and Missouri Energy Development Association (MEDA). Chuck has also served as the Chief of Staff to the Speaker at Missouri House of Representatives.

Caisley has been instrumental in shapingEvergy’s strategy and vision. Chuck has played a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, investors, analysts, and the media. Chuck is a well-respected leader in the industry and is known for their strategic thinking and ability to execute complex initiatives.

Caisley began their career as a political staffer in the Missouri House of Representatives. Chuck quickly rose through the ranks, eventually becoming the Chief of Staff to the Speaker. In this role, they were responsible for managing the House budget, supervising department heads, and directing the flow of priority legislation. Chuck also oversaw all communications for the House and the Speaker’s Office.

After leaving the Missouri House of Representatives, Caisley became the President of the Missouri Energy Development Association (MEDA). In this role, they were responsible for defining and executing MEDA’s strategic mission, fundraising and membership plan, staffing structure, industry/government interaction, and message communication plan. Chuck also oversaw all media relations for MEDA.

Caisley has a deep understanding of the energy industry and is a trusted advisor to Evergy’s executive team. Chuck is a strategic thinker who is able to see the big picture and develop creative solutions to complex problems. Chuck is a strong leader who is respected by their peers and who has a proven track record of success in executing complex initiatives.

Chuck Caisley received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Chuck then went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Law from Saint Louis University.
