John Bridson

John Bridson is the Vice President of Generation Services at Evergy. John has over 25 years of experience in the energy industry, holding various engineering and management positions at Westar Energy from 1993 to 2010. In 2010, they were promoted to Executive Director of Generation, and in 2011 they were promoted to Vice President of Generation. John served in this role until 2014, when they left Westar Energy to join Evergy.

John Bridson has a bachelor's degree from Kansas State University. John also has a bachelor of science degree from the same school.

John Bridson works with Chuck Caisley - SVP Marketing, Public Affairs & Chief Customer Officer, Jeff Martin - Vice President, Customer & Community Operations, and Bruce Akin - VP Distribution Operations. John Bridson reports to David A. Campbell, President, Chief Executive Officer & Board Member.
