John Engelmann, CEcD, has extensive experience in economic development, currently serving as Lead Manager at Evergy since January 2008, focusing on recruiting and retaining businesses within the KCP&L electric utility service area. Previously, John held various roles including Manager at Aquila, Inc., where efforts centered on business recruitment in northwest Missouri, and President of the Southwest Johnson County Economic Development Corporation, where membership grew significantly under leadership.
