Scott Coffelt

Scott Coffelt, CPA, has extensive experience in accounting and financial analysis, currently serving as the Accounting Policy Manager at Evergy since August 2019. In this role, Scott leads technical accounting efforts, documenting the implications of significant transactions and managing compliance with new accounting guidance from the FASB and SEC. Prior to Evergy, Scott held various positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers, including Assurance Associate and Sr Accounting Policy Analyst, and participated in internships at Deloitte, Unilever, and in the agriculture engineering department at the University of Missouri. Scott holds a degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia, completed in 2017.
