Terry Hedrick

Terry Hedrick is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in generation engineering. Currently serving as Senior Director of Generation Engineering at Evergy since January 2007, Terry previously held the position of Director of Generation Engineering at Kansas City Power and Light (KCPL) from July 2008 to October 2021, overseeing a team of approximately 75 engineers and specialists. Prior to KCPL, Terry was Manager of Supply Engineering and Director of Generation Services at Aquila, Inc., managing major projects across multiple generation facilities. Terry's career began in engineering and supervision at Utilicorp from May 1985 to January 2001. Terry holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from the University of Missouri-Columbia, earned between 1980 and 1985.
