Robert M. Bordei

Robert M. Bordei is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy and marine sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Contracts & Sales for the Americas at MAN Energy Solutions since 2017, Bordei specializes in Operation & Maintenance Agreements for marine and power generation projects. Prior to this role, Bordei held several key positions at Proteus Power Co. Inc. (Elliott Management Corporation) from 2000 to 2016, culminating in the role of Regional Manager, where oversight of a $70M power generation project in Ecuador was achieved, including management of P&L and a team of over 160 staff. Earlier experience includes project management for a 50MW power plant refurbishment in Brazil and various engineering roles within Petromin Tanker Ship Management in Europe from 1995 to 1999. Bordei holds a Master of Science degree in Electro-Mechanical Marine Engineering from Constanta Maritime University in Romania.
