Charlie Groome

Charlie Groome has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Charlie began their career as a Research Technician at Hammersmith Medicines Research Ltd in 2004. Charlie later worked as a Remote Analyst at Veracity Worldwide in 2007. From 2009 to 2011, they worked at KCG Holdings, Inc. as an Equities Trader and Assistant Vice President, specifically focusing on healthcare. After that, they founded Floreat Capital and served as the Managing Partner, raising funds for early-stage life science companies. In 2012, they founded CrowdCure, an equity-based crowdfunding portal for life sciences. From 2014 to 2016, Charlie worked as a Consultant at Epidarex Capital, preparing due diligence and financial analysis for investment opportunities. In 2016, they worked as a Consultant at BioCity Scotland Limited, organizing and coordinating the MediCity Accelerator program. Currently, Charlie is serving as the CEO & Co-Founder of Everna, a role they have held since 2017.

Charlie Groome completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience at UCL from 2004 to 2009. Prior to this, they attended Shrewsbury School between 1998 and 2003, but their degree and field of study during this time are unknown. In 2009, Charlie enrolled at the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and obtained a Level 3 Certificate in Investments (Securities).
