E Elizabeth (Liz) Loewy

Elizabeth (Liz) Loewy has had a distinguished career in law and finance. E Elizabeth (Liz) began their career in 1989 as an Attorney in Charge/Chief Domestic Violence Unit at the New York County District Attorney's Office. In this role, they oversaw the investigation and prosecution of the Office's criminal cases involving domestic violence, including sex crimes and elder abuse involving victims age 60 and older. E Elizabeth (Liz) also served as a liaison to hospitals, advocacy organizations, and social service agencies serving victims of domestic violence. In 1994, Liz was appointed as the Founding Chief of the Elder Abuse Unit at the New York County District Attorney's Office. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing a unit of 18 prosecutors and approximately 800 elder abuse cases annually. E Elizabeth (Liz) also counseled on several high-profile investigations and trials, including those involving the late Brooke Astor and Huguette Clark. In 2014, Liz co-founded and became COO of EverSafe, the first financial wellness platform designed for older adults and caregivers. EverSafe analyzes banking, investment, retirement, credit card, credit report and real estate data daily - across accounts and institutions. The company uses machine learning to identify irregular activity such as changes in spending, the opening of new depository accounts, suspicious vendors, use of dormant cards, liens, title changes and more.

E Elizabeth (Liz) Loewy attended the Emma Willard School, followed by the University of Pennsylvania where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Theirtory. E Elizabeth (Liz) then attended Albany Law School.
