Eversight
Gerald Babcock has extensive experience in leadership roles within the eye care and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as a Board Director at Eversight since March 2015 and at Eversight Michigan since June 2005, Gerald contributes to the provision of eye corneas to surgeons. Previously, Gerald held the position of Treasurer and Board Trustee at the Lions of Michigan Foundation from July 2000 to July 2014, and served as Chairman of the Board at Midwest Eye Bank from July 2010 to June 2011, along with a directorial role at Midwest Eye Banks from July 2004 to June 2011. Gerald's career began in the accounting and finance departments at Consumers Energy, where various positions were held from June 1966 to December 2000. Educational background includes a BS in Commerce with a focus on Accounting obtained from Ferris State University during the years 1964 to 1966.

Eversight is nonprofit organization with a mission to restore sight and prevent blindness through the healing power of donation, transplantation and research. The Eversight network is responsible for recovering, evaluating and providing human eye tissue for transplantation; supporting research into the causes and cures of blinding eye conditions; promoting donation awareness through public and professional education; and providing humanitarian aid to people around the world in need of corneal transplantation.
