Alan Lawrence

Alan Lawrence is the Vice President of Substation Operations and Field Engineering/Field Communications at Eversource Energy, overseeing the operations, restoration, construction, and maintenance of substations and transmission and distribution communication systems since October 2023. Prior to this role, Alan served as Senior Director of Field Operations at Pacific Gas and Electric Company from September 2009 to October 2023, where responsibilities included leading a workforce of up to 2,300 employees and managing a substation budget of $980 million. Earlier positions at Pacific Gas and Electric Company included Director of Substation Maintenance and Construction and Superintendent of Electric and Gas Operations, with achievements in directing maintenance organizations and successfully managing substantial capital budgets. Alan's educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in General Management from San Francisco State University and executive education from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
