Nancy Kaplan

Nancy Kaplan is an environmental attorney and author currently serving as the Assistant General Counsel for Sustainability, Environmental, Real Estate, and Siting at Eversource Energy, a role in which they manage a team and support the company's clean energy and environmental justice initiatives. With over 30 years of experience across the private sector, government, nonprofit, and academia, Nancy is recognized as a leading Change Agent in environmental stewardship and sustainability. They previously held positions as Principal Counsel and Senior Counsel at Eversource, and they have also served as General Counsel for MassDEP and as a partner at Keegan Werlin, LLP. Nancy has influenced future generations as an adjunct professor at multiple universities and is currently pursuing a path as a children’s book author.
