Souresh Mukherjee

Souresh Mukherjee is a Lead Engineer in Distribution System Planning at Eversource Energy since October 2019, responsible for developing low voltage network models and related processes. Previously, Souresh held the position of Senior Engineer at Eversource, focusing on medium- and long-range distribution plans, collaborating on integrating new technologies like photovoltaic solar, electric vehicles, and battery storage. Prior experience includes various roles at National Grid from 2014 to 2019, encompassing distribution planning and asset management, with expertise in CYME distribution analysis models and power flow analyses for electric distribution networks. Souresh began a career at National Grid as a Distribution Planning Intern and has a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology.
