Wahaj Syed

Wahaj Syed is a Senior Distribution Design Engineer at Eversource Energy, where responsibilities involve designing and obtaining project approvals for various distribution projects, focusing on system resiliency and infrastructure improvements since January 2020. Prior to this, Wahaj served as an Engineering Aide at Con Edison, reviewing and updating gas engineering specifications and collaborating with multiple departments. Wahaj has also contributed to education as an Instructional Design Assistant and a Student Technology Mentor at LaGuardia Community College, supporting faculty and students in technology-enhanced learning. Earlier experience includes roles in inventory management and customer service at K&S Wholesale Phone Accessories INC. Wahaj holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from The City College of New York and an Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering from LaGuardia Community College.
