Rui Botto

Rui Botto has been working in the tech industry since 2015. In 2015, they started as a Junior Developer at VentureOak, where they worked on the frontend development of the new Porto Editora website and improved a live version of a management and planning platform for a training session organizer company using Symphony. Rui also developed VentureOak's new website, where they were able to improve their knowledge about responsive design, css animations, template engines and worked with Phalcon. In 2017, they took on a Big Data Intern role at Farfetch, an online fashion retail platform. In 2018, they joined Eversports as a Frontend Engineer and Junior React Developer.

Rui Botto's education history includes a Master in Informatics and Computation Engineering from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto (2011-2018), a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Ghent University (2015), an Integrated Master in Electronical and Computation Engineering from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto (2010-2011), and a High School Diploma with Biology and Computer Sciences from Colégio Luso-Francês (1995-2010).
