Raimond Vargas

Raimond Vargas has extensive experience in risk management and fraud prevention within the financial sector. Notably, Raimond served as the Vice President Fraud Manager at Citi Costa Rica, overseeing fraud prevention efforts in Costa Rica and Panamá. Following this, roles included Sr. Fraud Prevention Manager at Scotiabank Transformándose and Auditor de Sistemas at Colegio Federado de Ingenieros y Arquitectos. Currently, Raimond holds the position of Gerente de Riesgo Operativo at Evertec, a leader in payment services innovation in the region. In addition to these roles, Raimond works as a financial services consultant focused on risk management and fraud prevention strategies. Raimond's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Information Systems from Instituto Tecnologico de Costa Rica and a Bachelor's degree in Auditing from Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología.
