Dave Lewis

Dave Lewis has extensive experience in security and crowd safety within the football industry. Currently serving as Head of Security and Stadium Safety at Everton Football Club since March 2012, Dave oversees all security-related matters and stadium safety during matches. Prior to this, Dave worked as a Crowd Safety Advisor for the Football Association from October 2011 to July 2015. Dave also held the position of Head of Force Operations and Football Commander with Merseyside Police from January 1997 to March 2011, leading security operations for all football matches in Merseyside and serving as a commander with England. Educated at the University of Liverpool with an MSc in Critical and Major Incident Psychology and holding a Diploma in Spectator Safety Management from the Emergency Planning College, Dave Lewis possesses a solid educational foundation to support expertise in this field.
