Cathy Cooper Sphr

Cathy Cooper, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has over 25 years of experience in human resources. Cathy is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer at United Church Homes and Services and EveryAge, where they provide strategic HR leadership and implements employee relations and retention programs. Prior to that, Cathy was the Senior Director of Human Resources and Transitions at Richfield Hospitality, Inc, overseeing all HR functions and ensuring seamless onboarding of new acquisitions. Cathy also worked at Cintas as a Human Resources Manager, where they developed HR processes and implemented policy strategies to increase employee satisfaction. In addition, Cathy was the Director of Human Resources at The Hotel Group/Richfield Hospitality, where they consulted on business decisions and implemented initiatives to increase applicant flow and reduce turnover. Overall, Cathy has a strong background in HR strategy, leadership, and compliance.

Cathy Cooper, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from LaSalle University, which they obtained in 1994. In 2004, they completed a Professional Certificate in Human Resources from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Additionally, Cathy has obtained several certifications, including the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI in May 2020, and the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) Certification from SHRM in January 2015.
