Samoil Dolejan

Samoil Dolejan is the current Head of GamMatrix at EveryMatrix. Prior to this, they served as the Group CFO for EveryMatrix Ltd from January 2015 to December 2018. In this role, they were in charge of leading the financial function across all subsidiaries of the group and representing it in the management team and board of directors.

Some key responsibilities Dolejan had as Group CFO included providing and interpreting financial reports to the board of directors and top management team, producing long-term business plans and budgets, working with the top management team on the company strategy, handling the financial area on M&A opportunities, and analyzing the company's performance compared to budget and implementing cost control and cash flow management measures when necessary. Samoil also drove the team towards automation of tasks and processes, migrating to better accounting software, and implementing automatic reconciliations.

Outside of their work with EveryMatrix Ltd, Dolejan has also acted as liaison for the group financial information to different stakeholders such as auditors, due diligence teams, and investors. Additionally, they have coordinated statutory audits for subsidiaries and the group, tax audits, and audits from regulatory bodies in the gambling sector. Lastly, they have attracted and delivered financing opportunities for the company including bank loans, bond listings, private loans, and equity.

Samoil Dolejan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Economics from Universitatea Dunarea de Jos and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Risk Management from Academia de Studii Economice din București.
