Kayling Wong

Kayling Wong has had a diverse work experience beginning in 2014. In that year, they worked as a Data Assistant at Tierra del Sol Resort & Golf, where they managed, developed, and troubleshot company database issues. In 2015, they volunteered with Key Club International, where they helped raise funds for maternal and neonatal tetanus and participated in monthly beach clean-up service projects. In 2016, they worked at Motorworld as a Marketing and Data Entry Assistant and Secretary, where they used Everlogic software for database input and managed customer, sales, and finance data entries via Excel. In 2018, they were the Shellhacks Digital Media Lead, leading a group of team members for photography and videography for the event. In 2019, they were a Learning Assistant and Grader at FIU School of Computing and Information Sciences, providing guidance to students and grading software engineering assignments. In 2020, they were a Technology Intern at State Farm, working on an Intelligent messaging platform using a Cloud-based serverless architecture and infrastructure as code. Currently, they are a Frontend Engineer (Data Analytics) at EveryMundo, where they implemented a performance-based feature used by over 100 airline companies and utilized AWS Lambda, S3, Athena, Google Analytics, MongoDB, JavaScript, and Node.js to create APIs.

Kayling Wong attended Florida International University from 2017 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
