Kelly Clements

Kelly Clements has over 15 years of professional experience in product design, user experience design, and ceramics. From 2007 to 2016, they were an Associate Artist at Tom Edwards Pottery, where they supported the running and maintenance of a production ceramics studio. In 2018, they completed a yearlong ceramics residency and body of work as a Teacher/ Artist in Residence at the Flower City Arts Center, where they developed and administered curriculum to effectively build skills and knowledge base in adult learners. In 2021, they were a Freelance Designer, working side-by-side with clients and teammates in multiple international time zones to redesign tool features of user and admin dashboards. Kelly also worked as a User Experience Designer at the Great British Pop Up Experience and a Snagpie / UX Designer at Springboard, where they researched, developed, and prototyped using Adobe, Sketch, and InVision. Currently, they are a Product Designer at EveryMundo, collaborating with teammates and product managers to design a company-wide, corporate marketplace for airlines, hotels, and events.

Kelly Clements began their educational journey in 2009 when they participated in Semester At Sea / ISE. Kelly then attended Metropolitan State University of Denver from 2011 to 2017, earning a Cross Curricular studies degree in Ceramic Arts. In 2019, they earned a Post baccalaureate from Louisiana State University in Ceramics. In 2020, they began a UI/UX Career Track with Springboard and obtained a UX/UI Design Certificate from the same institution in November 2021.
