Dave Brougham

Head Of IT at Everyone Active - SLM

Dave Brougham has had extensive work experience in the field of IT. Dave started their career as an Analyst/Programmer at Marconi PLC in 1986, where they played a role in introducing ORACLE as the main strategic database product. Dave worked their way up to become a Team Leader before leaving in 1990.

From 1990 to 1995, Dave worked at FISONS Pharmaceuticals as a Strategic Database Manager, handling database management responsibilities.

In 1995, they joined Blackburn Associates Systems Integrators Ltd as a Database Manager for a brief period.

Later in 1995, they moved to Fujitsu (formerly ICL) as an IT Consultant primarily working on Airport Information systems at Heathrow and Gatwick airports. Dave later shifted their focus to airline operational solutions.

Dave joined British Airways in 1997 as a Technical Consultant, contributing to projects involving operational systems and strategic direction. Dave had a particular focus on modeling business processes and developing future systems strategy. Dave stayed at British Airways until 2001.

From 2002 to 2013, Dave worked at South West Trains as the Head of IT. Dave was responsible for the delivery of the IT strategy that supported the successful rejuvenation of rail services.

Since 2013, Dave has been the Head of IT at Everyone Active - SLM, where they oversee all aspects of IT across the group. The company operates over 200 leisure centers in the UK and works in partnership with local authorities and health organizations to improve the health and well-being of individuals.

Dave Brougham attended Shelley High School from 1973 to 1979. Following this, they pursued a degree in Computing in Business BA(Hons) from The University of Huddersfield, completing their studies from 1981 to 1985.
