Anne Gillen Mauk

Anne Gillen Mauk has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Anne started their career as an Assistant to the Medical Practice Manager at Ear, Nose & Throat of Springfield, where they provided administrative assistance, confirmed patient appointments, and created marketing materials. From 2011 to 2013, they interned at both Clark County Combined Health District and Athens County Historical Society and Museum, where they gained experience in cataloging artifacts, curating exhibits, and preserving collection items. In 2013, they worked as a Seasonal Sales and Stock Associate at The Peanut Shoppe, assisting customers and preparing orders. Anne then joined Square One Salon and Spa, first as a Sales Representative and Customer Service Associate, managing stylists' calendars and assisting customers, and later as an Associate Stylist, responsible for shampooing and styling guests' hair. Most recently, Anne worked at EVERYTHING BUT THE HOUSE (EBTH) as an Estate Sale Content Specialist and then a Content Specialist. In these roles, they researched and authenticated a wide range of items, assessed their market value, managed inventory, and wrote compelling copy for online auction listings.

Anne Gillen Mauk completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History at Ohio University from 2009 to 2013. Anne then pursued an Associate Degree in Cosmetology at Aveda Institute-Columbus from 2014 to 2015. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a cosmetologist from the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology in November 2015.
