Jeff Minnear

Jeff Minnear has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Jeff started their career at GameStop as a Game Advisor, where they provided advice on system compatibility and age-appropriate content of PC and console games. Jeff also handled point of sale transactions. After working at GameStop for five years, Jeff joined Best Buy as a Sales Associate, assisting customers in finding the devices or software that suited their needs and handling point of sale transactions.

Jeff then transitioned into the healthcare industry and worked at Mount Nittany Medical Center as a Specimen Processing Clerk. Their responsibilities included data entry and management of sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA, as well as handling and transporting delicate and biohazardous specimens.

Jeff returned to the software engineering field and joined Koddi, where they started as a Junior Developer and later became a Software Engineer I - Front End. Jeff then moved on to Ambit Energy, where they worked as a Software Engineer.

Currently, Jeff Minnear is employed at EVERYTHING BUT THE HOUSE (EBTH) in multiple roles. Jeff started as a Frontend Developer in April 2021, and has since been promoted to Senior Software Engineer and Manager, Engineering & Development.

Throughout their career, Jeff has gained experience in various aspects of software development and has shown a progression in their roles and responsibilities.

Jeff Minnear's education history includes attending several institutions. In 2006, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Recording Arts Technology/Technician from Full Sail University. From 2015 to 2016, they attended Bloc and studied Full Stack Web Development. Currently, they are in progress of obtaining a Professional Unity Developer certification from GameDevHQ. Additionally, they have also completed a course called "Typescript: The Complete Developer's Guide" from Udemy.
