Susan Catalano

Susan Catalano is a seasoned expert in the biopharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in scientific leadership and strategic consulting. Currently serving as a Board Member for EverythingALS and as the Founder and Chief Science Officer for Circle Biopharma LLC, Catalano provides strategic advice on translational and clinical science. Previous roles include Chief Scientific Officer and Advisor at Capsida Biotherapeutics, where significant contributions were made toward operational and regulatory strategies, and at CODA Biotherapeutics, where a focus on clinical development and fundraising was established. As a co-founder and Chief Science Officer at Cognition Therapeutics, Inc., Catalano successfully guided the company from inception to IPO while securing funding for innovative drug candidates. Catalano holds a Ph.D. in Neurobiology and Anatomy from UC Irvine and a B.A. in Biology and English Literature from Barnard College.
