Jose Davila is a seasoned policy and government affairs expert with extensive experience in legislative advocacy and community relations. Currently serving as Senior Director of State Government Affairs at Everytown for Gun Safety since May 2017, Jose has successfully defeated 90% of defensive gun legislation in the South and has coordinated impactful legislative campaigns across the Southeast. Previous roles include Vice President for Policy & Government Relations at the Hispanic Federation, where millions in government funding were secured, and Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for the Office of the NYC Public Advocate. Jose's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Colgate University and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Rutgers University. Additionally, Jose is actively involved in various advisory capacities, contributing to organizations such as the National Hispanic Caucus of State Legislators and the Advocacy Institute.
