Keenon M. James

Keenon M. James serves as the Senior Director for both Law Enforcement Outreach and Engagement and the Everytown Survivor Network at Everytown for Gun Safety, where the focus is on supporting gun violence survivors and advocating for violence prevention and community safety. Prior experience includes the role of Deputy Director at the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives, overseeing administrative operations and policy initiatives, and as a Supervisory Program Specialist with the U.S. Department of Justice, providing training and technical assistance to local law enforcement agencies. Additional experience encompasses positions at The Pew Charitable Trusts, North Carolina Sheriffs' Association, and Grants.gov, showcasing a strong background in criminal justice reform, program management, and policy development. Keenon M. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from North Carolina Central University, graduating Cum Laude.
