Nakida McDaniel

Nakida McDaniel is an experienced professional in community engagement and marketing, currently serving as the Associate Community Engagement Director at Everytown for Gun Safety since July 2021. Prior to this role, McDaniel was the Organizing Manager at Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America from October 2016 to July 2021 and the Lead Community Organizer at Neighbors for Better Neighborhoods from May 2010 to October 2016. Additional experience includes working as a Marketing and Outreach Consultant at Visions Behavioral Health and as an Inside Marketing Account Executive at SilkRoad Technology. McDaniel has also held positions at Aon as a Benefits Administrator and at Winston-Salem State University as a Housing and Resident Life Processing Assistant. Education includes a Master’s in Business Administration with a focus on Business Marketing from the University of Phoenix and two Bachelor’s degrees in Mass Communication and Communications from Winston-Salem State University.
