Kyle Underhill has an extensive work experience starting from 2009 as a Technician at Fort Bend Computer Repair. From there, they worked as an Engineer I at Tower Engineering Professionals from 2014 to 2017. In 2018, they joined EVgo and held roles as an Operations Engineer Associate and later as an EVSE Engineer until 2019. From 2019 to 2022, Kyle worked at Rivian, initially as an Integration Engineer - Charging Projects, then as a Staff Project Engineer, and finally as a Manager, Charging Test & Development. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Charging Systems Engineering at EVgo, starting from 2024.
Kyle Underhill has a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston, which they obtained from 2009 to 2014. In September 2014, they also obtained the EIT certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
