Afifa Hamilton

Afifa Hamilton, MS, MPH, MBA, LCGC, is a licensed and board-certified genetic counselor currently serving as a Clinical Operations Supervisor in Lab Management at EviCore Healthcare. In the past, Afifa worked as a Senior Genetic Counselor and played a key role in the expansion of the Lab Management program into the Non-Molecular arena. With a foundational background from the University of Pittsburgh, where Afifa earned both an MS in Genetic Counseling and an MPH in Public Health Genetics, there is a strong focus on genetic counseling's role in public health. Afifa's earlier experience includes working in pediatric genetics at St. Vincent's Peyton Manning Children's Hospital and participating in clinical trials at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
