Erick Echesa

Erick Echesa has extensive experience in monitoring and evaluation within the field of water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) and public health programs. Since January 2016, Echesa has served as a Monitoring and Evaluation/Field Operations Officer for the Safe Water Project at Evidence Action, where responsibilities include generating activity reports, monitoring project data, managing funds, and leading training. Previous roles include substantial contributions to the National School Based Deworming Program and Lymphatic Filariasis elimination efforts, achieving the annual deworming of approximately 5 million children and improving data accuracy and processing efficiency. Echesa's earlier experience includes serving as a Field Officer for the Nutrition Embedded Evaluation Programme, as well as writing features for Western Times Newspaper. Echesa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Media IT, Public Relations from Maseno University and completed an online course in Justice at Harvard University.
