Stephen Nowicki

Stephen Nowicki has extensive experience in healthcare leadership, with a focus on value-based care and clinical integration. Currently serving as a Member of the Advisory Board at Evidently since February 2025, Stephen previously worked at Optum Health as a Senior National Medical Director and Distinguished Partner from January 2021 to February 2025, where responsibilities included integrating clinical platforms and developing use cases. As Chief Medical Officer for Sound Physicians from January 2019 to January 2021, Stephen established a clinical line for value-based hospitalists across multiple states. In earlier roles at WellMed and WellMed Medical Management, Stephen led initiatives to strengthen provider relationships, standardize practices, and drive growth across various Texas markets. Stephen earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and completed a Medical Residency in Corpus Christi.
