Benoit Cournoyer

Benoit Cournoyer is an experienced FPGA Engineer, currently employed at Evident Industrial since April 2022. Benoit has held various FPGA design roles at Olympus NDT from March 2012 to May 2022, Lyrtech from April 2010 to March 2012, and STMicroelectronics from August 2006 to April 2009, where significant contributions included designing a family of audio products for cell phones that achieved millions of sales. Additionally, Benoit worked on a patented MIMO receiver system at Université Laval from September 2004 to May 2006 and developed feedback control systems at Telops in October 2004. Early experience includes FPGA design at Nortel Networks focusing on optical network projects from May 2000 to January 2002. Benoit holds a Master's degree in Electronics from Université Laval and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal.
