Karen Bailey

Karen Bailey, PhD, is a seasoned research scientist currently at Evidera, with a robust background in health research and patient-centered outcomes. Previously, Karen served as Associate Director and UK lead at OPEN Health Evidence & Access, where significant roles included Senior Patient Centred Outcomes Consultant. With experience as an Independent Consultant and a PhD candidate at King’s College London, Karen has designed and carried out impactful studies, producing peer-reviewed publications and delivering comprehensive evaluations. Prior to these roles, Karen held leadership positions at organizations such as AVA and London's action Trust, focusing on strategic planning, governance, and multi-agency projects related to domestic violence and health services. Karen's academic credentials include a PhD in Addictions Science and a Master's in Mental Health Services and Population Research from King's College London, alongside various degrees in human rights and philosophy.
