James Nurthen is an experienced accessibility engineer who is currently a Senior Accessibility Engineer at Evinced and has been an Accessibility Engineer at Adobe since 2018. They co-chair the ARIA working group at W3C, where they have served since 2018. James previously worked at Oracle from 1996 to 1999 in various technical roles, including Principal Engineer for accessibility issues, where they developed the first set of Oracle Accessibility Standards.
