Helena Federley

Helena Federley has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Helena started their career in 2001 as an Economist at YLE, where they handled the follow-up of the economy within the Finlands Svenska Television news department. Helena worked closely with department leaders and news reporters. In 2003, they joined Svenska Finlands folkting as an Office Assistant, responsible for handling orders, assisting in arrangements, and cooperating with colleagues.

In the same year, Helena joined Crosskey as a Contact Center Service Specialist, providing support to both private and corporate customers, including technical assistance for banking products and systems. Helena worked in this position until 2006 when they transitioned to the role of Banking Specialist in Capital Markets. Helena'sresponsibilities included daily contact with customers, requirement specifications, and test cases for banking systems and internet banking. In 2015, their title changed to Product Specialist, and they worked on requirement specifications and test cases for migration projects.

In 2018, Helena moved to Evitec Ltd as a Senior IT Consultant. Helena worked on customer projects in various roles, including Project Manager, Business Analyst, Scrum Master, Service Manager, and Test Manager. Notably, they were a Scrum Master and test team member in a pension insurance project for 1.5 years. In the past two years, they served as a Service Manager in a large Finnish bank's transition project, utilizing their knowledge of capital markets.

Helena'smost recent role was as a Team Manager at Evitec Ltd, starting in September 2021 and ending in August 2022. Overall, Helena Federley has gained extensive experience in IT consulting, capital markets, banking systems, and customer service throughout their career.

Helena Federley pursued their education in a variety of fields. Helena completed their Master's Degree in Economics with a specialization in Accounting and Finance at Åbo Akademi University from 2011 to 2018. Helena also attended Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development in 2016, where they received a certification in Investments and Securities with a course named "Examen i placeringsärenden".

Before their master's degree, Helena obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Högskolan på Åland between 2005 and 2011. In 2003 and 2004, they undertook a Practicum program and obtained a certification as a Merkonom/Business and Administration Clerk, specializing in Economics.

Helena's educational journey also includes a period spent at Yrkeshögskolan Sydväst from 1997 to 2001, where they received a degree in Artenom YH with a focus on Textile Design. Prior to that, they attended Åbo Akademi University from 1994 to 1996, studying Engineering.

Helena completed their secondary education at Gymnasiet Lärkan from 1991 to 1994, acquiring the title of Student.

In addition to their formal education, Helena obtained the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in December 2019. Helena also earned the certification of Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in February 2014.
