Mark began their career at the United States Department of Defense in 2012, where they worked in various roles such as Computer Aide, Java Developer, Contract Management Specialist, Property Officer, and OpenStack Cloud Engineer. In 2017, Mark joined Evlos Technology as a Software Engineer and later became the Deputy Director of Knowledge and Information Security. Their expertise includes software engineering, knowledge and information security, and cloud computing.
Mark Shearer has a comprehensive education history in the field of Computer Science. Mark started their academic journey by completing their high school education at Glen Burnie High School, where they received their diploma in the year 2013.
After completing high school, Mark pursued an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Science at Anne Arundel Community College from 2013 to 2016. This provided him with a solid foundation in the subject.
Building upon their associate degree, Mark then enrolled at the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2016 to 2018. Here, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science, further expanding their knowledge and expertise in the field.
Additionally, Mark has demonstrated their commitment to professional development by obtaining a certification in Security+ from CompTIA in March 2022. This certification highlights their expertise in security-related aspects of computer systems.
