Mariko Buser, CSM

Mariko Buser, CSM has over 15 years of work experience in a variety of roles. In 2005, they began their career as a Cancer Information Specialist at the American Cancer Society. Mariko then went on to work as a Pasta, Prep, & Pastry Chef at ENOTECA VESPAIO, L.P. in 2008, where they received two promotions in less than three years. In 2011, they became a Garde Manger at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, where they consistently received excellent feedback from guests. In 2012, they took on the role of Office Manager at Dai Due, where they managed office operations and performed bookkeeping duties. From 2013-2016, they worked at Peche as a Bar Manager/Assistant Bar Manager and Bartender/Barback, and was consistently promoted to increasingly responsible positions. In 2016, they became Office Manager at Dr. Michael Winters PhD, where they managed the calendar and schedule appointments for a Psychologist and Professor. In 2017, they took on the role of Brand Ambassador at Chufly Imports, where they planned and coordinated promotional events to promote the brand throughout Texas. In 2019, they became a Global Logistics Coordinator and Domestic Sales Consultant at PetRelocation, where they coordinated the shipment of live animals for domestic and international moves, tracked moves and complied with regulations for over 200 unique destinations, created strategic plans and determined alternatives during the COVID-19 pandemic, managed Salesforce leads, developed proposals, built custom move plans for pets, and negotiated contracts with clients for moves within the U. S. and Canada. In 2021, they took on the role of Office Manager (contract position) at Aceable, where they managed and supported the Austin and Houston offices (190+ employees), planned and coordinated virtual and in person engagement, wellness, and holiday activities, and generated monthly departmental expense reports. Currently, Mariko Buser, CSM is the Human Resources Manager at Evocalize.

Mariko Buser holds a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies and Theatre from Southwestern University and a Certificate in Applied Project Management from Austin Community College. Mariko also has a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in September 2021.
