Richard Murawski

Richard Murawski is the Vice President of Operations for Evofem Biosciences. At the executive level, he has significant experience in all functions of Operations, including Manufacturing, Engineering, Process Development, Technology Transfer, Quality, Supply Chain, IT, Facilities and Environmental Health and Safety. He has been involved in successfully bringing multiple products from R&D to commercialization. He has extensive successful Regulatory experience including multiple NDA, ELA, PLA, and BLA filings and over 35 successful FDA, CAFDB, EU, Swiss, Canadian and Japanese PAI and compliance inspections. Mr. Murawski has worked on both sides of Contract Manufacturing, including the creation and direction of two Contract Manufacturing Organizations. He has directed the successful design, construction, start up, validation and operation of 19 United States and international biopharmaceutical manufacturing plants. He has significant executive leadership in large scale biopharmaceutical operations (Schering, Wellcome, Baxter Healthcare) as well as small scale biotech companies (Favrille, Vital Therapies). Mr. Murawski also has extensive experience working in North and South America, Europe and Asia. He has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Newark College of Engineering, now know as the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT).
