Pieter van der Bas

Pieter van der Bas has a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with over 20 years of experience in various roles. Pieter started their career at C. van Heezik B.V., where they worked as a logistics engineer and participated in several projects involving distribution networks integration. In 1998, they joined EVO as a senior consultant, where they worked on a range of projects, including warehouse redesign, logistics optimization, and ICT systems selection. Pieter later became the manager of the consultancy department at EVO, responsible for the execution of around 500 projects per year. In 2012, they were promoted to the role of senior manager at EVO. In 2015, Pieter joined evofenedex as the Chief Operations Officer, where they oversee consultancy projects, trainings, and events, and manages a team of 30 employees and over 200 external professionals. Pieter also has a focus on strategic sourcing.

Pieter van der Bas has a diverse education history. In 1988, they completed their VWO education without specifying a field of study. From 1994 to 1998, Pieter attended HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and pursued a degree in Technische Bedrijfskunde. In 2002, they furthered their education in Supply Chain Management by completing a post-academic degree at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
