Elanite Caspi has an extensive work experience in the field of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Elanite is currently serving as the Head of MicroBoost AI at Evogene, where they are responsible for establishing and leading the development of innovative computational tools for microbial-based product development. Elanite collaborates with partners to optimize new microbial products and oversees project contracting, budgeting, and timelines.

Previously, Elanite worked as the Preclinical Development Associate Director at Clexio Biosciences, where they led preclinical development programs for pain and CNS disorders. Before joining MediWound, Elanite worked as an R&D Senior Scientist at Sigma-Aldrich. Elanite evaluated new product opportunities, mainly focused on recombinant proteins, and designed protocols for product development and formulation. Elanite also developed bioactivity assays to validate product activity.

Elanite's career began at Proteologics, where they worked as a Senior Scientist and Project Manager. Here, they managed multiple drug discovery projects simultaneously and collaborated with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) to develop small molecules for cancer treatment. Elanite led the development process from target identification to drug discovery, including ADME/PK studies.

Elanite Caspi began their education in 1995 at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Technology. Elanite completed their undergraduate studies in 1998. Following their bachelor's degree, Caspi continued their academic journey at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology, specializing in Oncology and Cancer Biology. Elanite completed their master's program in 2001. Building upon their knowledge and research experience, Caspi enrolled in Tel Aviv University in 2004 to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Elanite successfully completed their doctoral studies in 2008, further deepening their expertise in the field.
