Chris Kimber started their work experience as a Student Naval Aviator in the United States Marine Corps from January 2009 to January 2011. Chris then served as a Personnel and Manpower Officer in the Marine Corps from January 2011 to July 2013, where they certified the deployment readiness of over 1,500 Marines and Sailors and developed internal controls for managing over 300 government travel credit card accounts.

Chris Kimber completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from William & Mary, studying from 2001 to 2006. Chris then pursued further education at the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance, General from 2015 to 2017.
