Henry LaFleur has over 20 years of experience in software engineering and development. Henry began their career in 1991 as a Communications Computer Systems Programmer in the United States Air Force. In 1997, they became the Webmaster at Pack & Paddle, where they maintained the web site and created graphics for the monthly newsletter. In 1998, they joined Phoenix Forge Group as a General Software Developer, writing software in Java and PHP 3 for their MTR system and payroll calculation system. In 2000, they became a Software Developer at Bengal Development, where they implemented and maintained an Approval for Expenditure (AFE) electronic routing and web approval system. In 2002, they joined Epoch Well Services as a Project Lead, and then moved to Canrig Drilling Technology Ltd. in 2008, where they served as Senior Manager, Chief Software Architect, and Project Lead. In 2016, they became the Product Development Manager at Revention, where they managed the development process and applied principles of continuous process improvement. Finally, in 2019, they joined TransCore as a Software Development Manager, where they organized the project and wrangled the scope, staffed the project with qualified team members, automated and documented key processes, and improved communications and reporting. Henry LaFleur is currently a Principal Software Engineer at evoleap.
Henry LaFleur obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette between 1995 and 1998. In 2017, they obtained the Exam 480: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 certification from Microsoft. In 2021, they obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate certification from Microsoft.
