Dan McCarthy

Dan McCarthy serves as President of Evolent Health and oversees the value-based specialty care portfolio within the company, including New Century Health, Vital Decisions and IPG. Dan joined Evolent in early 2014 and has served in various leadership roles over the years across strategy, business development, operations and M&A. Prior to joining Evolent, Dan worked in the health care practice at McKinsey & Company, where he consulted to payers and providers on a range of topics related to value-based care. Earlier in his career, Dan served as a high school math teacher and worked in financial services. Dan holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he was a Goldsmith Fellow, and received a B.A. from Georgetown University, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude.
