Oscar De Souza

Oscar De Souza has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Oscar currently holds the position of Head of Engineering Analysis at Evolito Ltd, a role they started in December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Safran starting in 2013, where they served as a Mechanical Engineering Consultant, providing expert guidance on structural integrity challenges. Oscar later became the Stress & Materials Team Leader, responsible for managing these teams and ensuring project milestones were met. Before Safran, De Souza worked at Goodrich Power Systems as a Stress Team Leader from 1999 to 2012.

Oscar De Souza has a strong educational background in Mechanical Engineering. Oscar obtained their BEng (hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Birmingham City University from 1989 to 1993. Later, they pursued a further degree, completing a MSC Design of Rotating Machinery at Cranfield University from 1994 to 1995.

In terms of additional certifications, Oscar De Souza is a Chartered Engineer, which they obtained from THE ENGINEERING COUNCIL in January 2017. Oscar is also a Lean Practitioner, having received certification from Safran in June 2013.
