Stephen Spikings MEng(Hons) MIET

Stephen Spikings MEng(Hons) MIET has a diverse work experience in the field of electronics engineering. Stephen is currently working as a Senior Hardware Engineer at Evolito Ltd since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Safran as a Senior Specialist Engineer - Electronics from November 2019 to December 2021.

Stephen also has extensive experience at Collins Aerospace, where they worked from August 2011 to April 2019. During their time there, they held the positions of Senior Specialist Engineer and Senior Engineer - Electronics Design. As a Senior Specialist Engineer, they were responsible for the design and verification of circuitry used in Motor Drive Electronics (MDE) for the Embraer KC-390 aircraft. Stephen was the card owner of the Control and Monitor Board, leading and reviewing its requirements, schematics, and PCB design.

Stephen's earlier experience includes working as an Electronics Engineer at Subspection Ltd from April 2010 to August 2011, where they specialized in Cathodic Protection and worked on a project involving monitoring pipe corrosion through the application of high current pulses.

Stephen Spikings attended the University of Southampton from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electronics Engineering. Following that, from 2006 to 2009, they pursued studies in Unobtrusive Health Monitoring at the same university. In 2015, they became a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET) from The Institution of Engineering and Technology.
