Ben Lodewyk

Ben Lodewyk started their work experience as an Intern at Kane County Cougars Baseball in 2015. Ben then interned at Imagine Argentine Youth Social Entrepreneurship Program in 2016, where they helped found Snack Shack KC and developed a business plan for the program. In 2017, Ben worked as an Intern at VASTA & ASSOCIATES, INC.

In 2018, they served as a Data Analytics Intern at DuPage Medical Group, working with the Reporting & Analytics Team for Boncura Health Solutions. Ben also attended Tilburg University as an Exchange Student during the same year.

Starting in 2019, Ben became a Data Science Intern at Darwill, where they used SQL and Python to extract and manipulate data. Ben also conducted case studies to showcase previous work to potential clients.

In 2020, they joined SEAD Software LLC as a Business Intelligence Analyst. Ben utilized SQL and Tableau to provide actionable analytics to clients, creating interactive dashboards for user interface. Ben also performed data manipulation using SQL queries.

Currently, Ben is working at Evolutio as a Data Science Consultant, a role they started in 2022. Ben will transition into the position of Data Scientist in 2023.

Ben Lodewyk obtained their high school diploma from Timothy Christian High School in the year 2016. Ben then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Economics & Finance from High Point University, where they studied from 2016 to 2020. Additionally, Ben has obtained various certifications such as Tableau Desktop Specialist from Tableau, LLC in July 2020, Data Studio Certification from Google in September 2022, and AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2023. Ben has also earned certifications in Hands On Essentials - Data Applications and Hands On Essentials - Data Warehouse from Snowflake in March 2023, and SnowPro Core Certification from Snowflake in March 2023. Furthermore, Ben has obtained certifications in Cribl Certified Observability Engineer Stream User and Cribl Certified Observability Engineer Stream Admin from Cribl in October 2022 and November 2022 respectively. Lastly, they have completed the DataRobot Fundamentals certification from DataRobot in May 2022.
