Alexandru Petrescu

Alexandru Petrescu has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Alexandru started their career in 1997 as an electronics technician, where they were responsible for maintaining a digital telephonic central and implementing new facilities. Alexandru then worked as an analog layout IC design engineer, designing layouts for bipolar circuits and performing checks using DRC tools.

In 1999, Alexandru joined SC Essex COM SRL as a layout IC design engineer, followed by a role as an ICs test and pcb engineer at SC L.D.I.C. Romania SRL, where they worked until 2004.

Alexandru then joined Atmel as an electronics engineer and worked there until 2008. Alexandru's responsibilities included electronics design and testing.

From 2008 to 2009, they worked at MoSys as an electronics engineer. In 2009, they joined SC Edge-Automation SRL as an electronics engineer for a short period of time.

From 2010 to 2013, Alexandru worked at Pentalog as a 3G audio software engineer, providing customer support and solutions for audio issues in mobile telephone platforms. Alexandru also worked as a 3G audio hardware and software engineer during this time, focusing on analyzing and solving problems related to audio parts of 3G mobile platforms.

Most recently, Alexandru worked at Evolution MedTec as an embedded SW engineer, where they worked on firmware development using Nordic Semi microcontrollers. Their responsibilities included implementing code to meet project requirements.

Alexandru Petrescu completed their baccalaureate in the field of electric profile at Electroaparataj (now Sfantul Pantelimon) High School from 1990 to 1994. Alexandru then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with a focus on electronics at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest from 1994 to 1997.
